Polin Cohanne
Polin (‘72, American Studies, Phi Beta Kappa), earned her law degree at Villanova University School of Law. She has a record of military and government service, as well as experience in the private sector as an attorney.
For over 17 years, Polin was an entertainment attorney representing production companies and talent, primarily in the television business. She was responsible for the contract and other legal-related production work for numerous television pilots, series, and movies of the week.
Polin was appointed the Chief of Staff at the Veterans Employment and Training Service at the Department of Labor, and later the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy.
Currently, Polin is a Program Analyst in the Acquisition Management Division of Audits at the Office of the Inspector General in the Department of Homeland Security.
She served in the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate.
Polin has created the “Polin Cohanne American Studies Scholarship,” which supports students with demonstrated need whose coursework or research interests relate to the fields of American history, American literature, politics, and government.
