Assistant Professor of English: Interdisciplinary Rhetoric

The Department of English at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA seeks an interdisciplinary scholar of rhetoric to join a top ten research department in the humanities with a history of leadership in rhetorical studies beginning August 2014.  Successful applicants will demonstrate a compelling research agenda with significant promise of publication in diverse top tier outlets and across disciplinary boundaries.  PhD must be in hand by time of appointment. Faculty will teach two courses per semester (four per calendar year) and have opportunities for supported research leave.
