Jack Selzer recently completed a two-year term as President of the Rhetoric Society of America.  In honor of the end of his term he gave the keynote address at the RSA's biennial 2010 conference in Minneapolis.  His topic, "Concord and Controversy on August 28, 1963," draws on his recent research on the rhetoric of the civil rights movement.  In the 2011-12 academic year he'll be teaching two courses on that subject.
