Professional Bio
Dr. Starosta is the author of the monograph Form and Instability: Eastern Europe, Literature, Postimperial Difference (Northwestern University Press, 2016) and co-editor, with Wlad Godzich, of Second-Hand Europe, a special issue of boundary 2: an international journal of literature and culture (2014). One of her current projects is to edit and translate a volume of writings by philosopher Józef Tischner. She's a member of the Editorial Collective of boundary 2: an international journal of literature and culture, and has held an elected position on the Board of the American Comparative Literature Association.
