Professional Bio

Connie Bubash is a fourth-year doctoral candidate studying late medieval and early modern literature, with a particular focus on Renaissance drama. Her research interests include disease and contagion, especially affective pathologies; the relationship between literary form and embodiment; the physiological dimensions of hermeneutics; and the influence of literature and performance on public health.
