Professional Bio

Christina Cook is a poet, literary translator, essayist, and book critic. She is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently A Strange Insomnia, published by Aldrich Press. Her work has been included in two anthologies and has been published widely in journals including the New Ohio Review, Prairie Schooner, Painted Bride Quarterly, and Crazyhorse. Christina taught writing at the University of Cincinnati and Colby Sawyer College before going on to serve as a senior writer for the presidents of Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania. She now teaches in the English Department’s Program in Writing and Rhetoric.
