Professional Bio

MA1, English literature.

Daniela was born in Lima, Peru and grew up in South Florida, U.S.. Her undergraduate thesis uses Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror and Virginia Woolf’s Orlando to explore the construction and maintenance of male identities, as well as critical perspectives on white maleness. Her current research interests include: 20th/21st century British and American literatures, new medias, gender and sexuality, theology, psychology and humor, with specific interests on the works of Virginia Woolf and Samuel Beckett.
