Professional Bio

I study the relationship between rhetoric and technology through an intersectional feminist lens. My dissertation project, Programming Women: Rhetorical Education, Literacy, and Coding, considers computer programming as a literacy and examines sites of coding literacy education for marginalized communities in tech. I have taught courses in technical writing, research writing, and rhetoric and composition both online and in-person. For the academic year 2019-2020, I was a graduate assistant for the Program in Writing and Rhetoric as well as a consultant with the Digital English Studio.
