Professional Bio

My specialty is speculative fiction, with an emphasis on fantasticism. I relish mythology, folklore, fairy tales, Gothic fiction, and magic realism. My current topics of interest include monstrosity and the adaptation/evolution of lore, and my recent research has focused on 19th-century werewolf figures.
