MLA’s Division of American Literature to 1800 has honored our colleague Carla Mulford with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Division explains that “The committee was immensely impressed with your accomplishments, and it seems to us that this award is especially appropriate given your status as founding president of the SEA [Society of Early Americanists].” Congratulations Carla!
