Congratulations to Michael Anesko and his editorial team on the recognition they have received from MLA.

The Complete Letters of Henry James (1883-1884, Volume 2) received the official endorsement of the MLA’s Committee on Scholarly Editions at the Awards Ceremony at the convention. Michael notes that “This honor is shared not just by me but also by the graduate students who have worked beside me to establish and verify the copy-text(s) for this volume: Ms. Laurena Clemente, Mr. Kyle Dunn, and Ms. Danielle Carder.” But that’s not the only volume receiving this recognition. Michael was just informed that the MLA Committee on Scholarly Editions has also selected The Complete Letters of Henry James, 1884-1886, volume 1 as an MLA Approved Edition. That recognition will be conferred at the 2021 convention in Toronto. Michael credits Andrew Erlandson for his contributions to the editorial work for that volume. Congratulations to Michael and his editorial team for these important recognitions of the work he and his team do on The Complete Letters of Henry James. Many more volumes (and probably more recognition!) to come.
