Sandy Spanier has won the Faculty Scholar Medal in the Arts and Humanities.

The Faculty Scholar Medal is one of the university’s top research prizes, and only a handful are awarded each year across the university. The awards are for scholarship during the most recent five-year period, and Sandy’s internationally acclaimed work directing and editing the Hemingway Letters Project and her key groundbreaking scholarship on Kay Boyle have come to full fruition during the past five years. Congratulations Sandy on winning this very competitive award and on the research that it recognizes!
