Fee and Registration

The class fee is TBD. The student portion of the class fee covers transportation to and from all field trips and room and board at Wellfleet dormitories. You should register early, since the course fills up quickly.

For Penn State students (with 12 or more credits)

Upon your acceptance, this course will be added to your fall 2012 semester schedule. If you are a full-time student, no additional tuition payment is needed and your class fee will be charged to your student account. If you are a part-time student, the tuition and class fee will be charged to your student account.

For non-full-time students (part-time students or non–Penn State students)

You will receive a bill for payment, which includes tuition — based on your residence and semester status — and the information technology, activity, and class fees.

How to Register

Students should register on eLion. Enrollment is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students can take the course as ENGL 496, which may fulfill some degree requirements. Those interested in taking the course as ENGL 496 should contact the professor-in-charge at 814-865-7105.

All registrations must be received by 5:00 p.m. EST on September 3, 2012. After this date, please call the planner at 814-863-5144 for information about late-registration opportunities. If space permits, you may be able to register for an additional $30.

H1N1 Notice

Please help lessen the spread of flu this season. Both seasonal and H1N1 influenza are expected to affect many people this year. The exclusion of ill persons from public, school, and group gatherings is key to lessening the spread of the flu. If you are ill, please remain at home during your illness and recovery. If you have a fever (100˚ F or higher), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends limiting contact with others until you have been without a fever for at least 24 hours.
