You are here: Home We see you. We support you. We are…with you.

We see you. We support you. We are…with you.

To our transgender, non-binary and intersex community and all who support and advocate for the greater Penn State LGBTQ+ community…

We’ve been supporting our students, staff, and faculty in the wake of information that the federal government may move to alter the legal definition of sex to intentionally exclude transgender, non-binary and intersex people from the rights granted to all in the United States.

The staff and students from the LGBTQA Student Resource Center are here for you. You are valid. You are valued. You are loved.

You are worthy of dignity and respect. You belong at Penn State.

You belong in our classrooms, residence halls, student organizations, athletic environments and community spaces. You belong on our campuses as you live, learn, love, study, work, and worship.

Trans, non-binary and intersex individuals exist. Trans, non-binary and intersex individuals have always existed.

Racism, colonialism, misogyny, and classism conspire to reinforce powerful structures of oppression. The connections and bonds we weave are stronger and the work we do at Penn State and across our communities – is critical.

We stand with you. We affirm you. We support you. Please reach out if you’d like to connect- and know we stand with you. #WontBeErased
