Verna Kale and senior English minor Jessica Raskauskas publish a co-authored article about Hemingway.

The article “Hills Like White Elephants” was published online June 2021 in The Explicator. The paper evolved from in-class writing and Jess’s final paper in ENGL 200: Introduction to Critical Reading, which Verna and Jess worked together to re-frame as a piece on pedagogy, readers’ subjective experiences, and college students’ perspectives on alcohol and consent.
