Professional Bio

Blaire Krakowitz is a 2nd-year M.A. student specializing in early modern drama & Shakespeare studies. Her research emphasizes the importance of performance in dramatic criticism, performance-as-criticism, and Shakespearean adaptation & appropriation. Other scholarly interests include the Gothic, absurdist literature, and theory of the uncanny & grotesque.

Blaire currently serves as secretary for the Early Periods Study Group (EPSG).
