Professional Bio
Brett Seekford is a Lecturer of English who studies the intersections of identity, performance, and the Black-white color line in twentieth-century American literature. He is also invested in questions around critical pedagogy, with a particular commitment to culturally-responsive and inclusive pedagogies. He previously received his B.A. from James Madison University in 2016 and his M.A. from the University of Delaware, and he is currently finishing his Ph.D.
