Professional Bio
Ellen Skirvin teaches and serves as the Assistant Director of Creative Writing at Penn State. She also serves on the Board of the Appalachian Prison Book Project, a volunteer-driven non-profit organization that mails free books and provides educational support to people incarcerated in the Appalachian region. Her writing appears or is forthcoming in the New Ohio Review, Baltimore Review, Hobart, CutBank, The Forge Literary Magazine, and other places.
