My work started in the Middle Ages, but jumped to contemporary fiction, tech writing, sf and fantasy, and helping PhDs hunt for jobs.
Areas of Specialization
American Literature After 1900
My interest lies in writers since 1960. My most recent two books are on Aggressive American Fiction and the way mythology is used and invented in contemporary fiction
