Graduated in May 2019 with a B.A in English literature and in History. Obtained MA in English from the Pennsylvania State University in Summer 2022. Worked as a graduate assistant for the Program in Writing and Rhetoric for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Professional Bio
Javiera Morales-Reyes is a 4th-year Ph.D student in the English department focusing on 17th century literature, women writers, feminist rhetoric, and rhetorical feminism. Her dissertation focuses on 17th century Catholic women and their ever-evolving roles as rhetoricians, writers, and missionaries. Her other interests are the (feminine) Gothic, feminist and anti-colonial scholarship, and South American indigenous literature.
