Professional Bio

Lisa Mangini is the author of five collections of poetry and short prose. Some of her work can be found in Huffpost, Ms. Magazine, McSweeney's, Mid-American Review, American Journal of Nursing, March Faxness, Memoir Mixtapes, and elsewhere. She is the Founding Editor of Paper Nautilus, an independent chapbook press, and directed the Red Weather Reading Series from 2017 - 2020. Currently, she serves as the Department's Internship Coordinator. Classes Lisa has taught at Penn State include ENGL 5, 15, 15E, 50, 202B, 212, 213, 215, and the RCL sequence.
