On Friday, March 29, at 2:00 PM in the Grucci Room, Paige Reynolds will give a lecture entitled “The Matter of Yeats: Material Culture, Severed Heads, and the Late Drama of W. B. Yeats.” An associate professor of English at the College of the Holy Cross, Dr. Reynolds has published widely on Irish modernism and material culture. Her articles have appeared in Modernism/modernity, Twentieth-Century Literature, Eire-Ireland, and New Hibernia Review, among others, and her book Modernism, Drama, and the Audience for Irish Spectacle (Cambridge, 2007) received Honorable Mention in the American Conference for Irish Studies’s Distinguished First Book competition. This event is part of the Modernist Studies Workshop’s Speaker Series.
