Graduates of the English doctoral program are prepared to succeed in a variety of fulfilling careers, including tenure-track and non-tenure track teaching positions at universities and colleges, academic research and administration positions, and careers outside of the academy entailing public-facing scholarship and curation, industry consultation, non-profit administration, writing and journalism, educational advocacy, and more.
