Congratulations are also in order for Gabriel Lorenzo Aguilar and Rob Nguyen for winning College of the Liberal Arts Raymond E. Lombra and Roberta Lombra Outstanding Graduate Research Awards!

Here is a little about each of their awards:

Gabe’s nominated article, “World-Traveling to Redesign a Map for Migrant Women,” appeared in the August 2022 issue of Technical Communication. Gabe, along with the department head and Gabe’s advisor, Stuart Selber, are invited by Dean Lang to attend the College of the Liberal Arts Faculty and Graduate Student Awards Ceremony from 12-2pm on Wednesday April 26, in the Senate Suite of the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center where he will be presented the award.

Rob Nguyen’s nominated article, “Middle-out from Bottom-up: Engineering and Close Reading Code in HBO’s Silicon Valley,” appeared in the September 2022 issue of Configurations.
