Julie Park has been awarded honorable mention for the MLA’s James Russell Lowell Prize.
The Lowell Prize is awarded annually for an outstanding book—a literary or linguistic study, a critical edition of an important work, or a critical biography—written by a member of the MLA. Julie’s book My Dark Room: Spaces of the Inner Self in Eighteenth-Century England, was published by the University of Chicago Press.
