Toby Thompson published an essay this summer about the legendary Montana singer/songwriter Mike Beck.

Toby has been writing about music and popular culture for over fifty years; this spring, he will be teaching 487W, “Bob Dylan and the Literature of Rock”—and then retiring after forty years at Penn State.
