Verna’s pre-recorded 2 minute response answering the prompt “What did grace under pressure mean to Ernest Hemingway?” starts at about the 20 minute 30 second mark.  The purpose of the MoMA salons is “to explore the potential and responsibility of museums – MoMA in particular – as public actors, with the vision of establishing our institutions as the R&D departments of society. Part of this initiative is a series of intimate gatherings that tackle themes relevant both within and beyond the museum walls.”  Verna’s research for the Hemingway Letters Project was also recently profiled on the University Libraries page at the University of South Carolina where she spent a week last month working in archival collections for the Letters of Ernest Hemingway Volume 7.
