Professional Bio
Eunice Toh received her PhD in English and African American and Diaspora Studies. Her dissertation, "Black Cosmo-cologies: Rebirth and Renaissance in the Long Nineteenth Century," considers how the entanglements of race, ecology, and the planet invite alternate understandings of cultural projects like the renaissance (both as literary period and ideological concept). Her writing has been published in African American Review.
