Professional Bio
Takina Walker is a PhD student in English. She is a #DigBlk scholar for the Center for Black Digital Research, a Bunton-Waller Graduate Fellow, and a 2021 Cooper DuBois Mentoring Program fellow. She graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a Bachelor of Arts in English: Literary Studies. Her research interests include African American romance, the intersections of romance and race, and sexuality studies.
